Eddie Griffin: Love Is Blind

So the past weekend, STACK team went to go see Eddie at the Brea Improv. Let me tell you something if you already don’t know.. EG is a funny ass dude! People were giving him a standing ovation before he even said his first word. (that’s RESPECT!) My cheeks were hurting after the show due to too much laughter. Well, I just wanted to say our crew had a blast and we hope to see him again in the near future.

Calculating Your Odds

So I have been playing online poker for over 5 years now and people always ask me how to calculate “odds.” It’s rather simple once you know the trick. Today, I’m going to share w/ you a simple trick on figuring out your odds of winning a hand after the “flop” and the “turn.”
1st: Count your “OUTS” / the number of cards in the deck that can help you
2nd: Once you figure out the number of ‘outs,’ just multiply by 4 on the flop to get the percentage of your chance of pulling one of your outs.
3rd: After the turn, multiply your outs by 2 to find out your chance of pulling one of your outs on the river.
-Now you know the trick pros use to finding out their odds of winning a hand after the flop and the turn. Feel free to try this system out and take advantage of knowing the percentage game to give you an edge over other players who don’t know.

NFL Has Finally Begun!

With the 1st week of football almost wrapped up, let me share with you the top performers from each position.
QB: Dree Brees- I know it was against probably the worst defense in the league but his stats was simply amazing (358yds, 6 TDs, 1 Int), giving his fantasy owners with 40 pts!!!
RB: Adrian Peterson- His alter ego:
…is AP even human? This 3rd year back is definitely the most talented runner in the game. (198 total yds, 3 TDs) **Next to face All Day, the one and only Lions. It’s scary to know he can do even better in week 2.
WR: Reggie Wayne: (10 Rec, 162 Yds, 1 TD) – With Anthony Gonzalez going down, Reggie Wayne took advanatge of the situation and put up a monster stat. *note: my Andre Johnson got me 4 Rec with 35 Yds. Yikes!
TE: John Carlson: The one and only man in my league who saved me from embarrassment in week 1. This kid gave me just over 20 pts which is huge for a tight end. He has become a favorite target of Matt Hasselbeck. Look out TIER 1 TE’s, get in line behind Carlson. hahahaa
