Kony 2012

Am I too late to hop on this amazing story? I’m definitely not and you all should help too. What a touchy story of how we all can contribute to bring down Joseph Kony for good. If you haven’t already, PLEASE watch this video and share with many people as you can.

Time For A Change

With an exciting start to a new year for Stack, it was time for me to make a change from my old Droid phone to the new iPhone 4s.

Why you ask… first of all, iPhone is the best phone on the marke!. (tho many droid owners might say otherwise only cuz they don’t own one personally) – also, it was an early bday gift from my brother and sister-in-law =) thanks guys!

Another main reason: taking business to another step by getting one of these suckers. Esspecially when I’m on tour: “YES, we now accept credit card payments!”

On a side note… the only gift I bought myself while I was in NY for a week recently. It was delivered to me today. Couldn’t fit this in my carry-on luggage so had to have it delivered. The full collection of Michelangelo’s work:

about 800 pages, full-color, superb quality prints, and almost 18lbs.

Clipper Darrell… oops, i mean… “Darrell.” Dumb.

We just heard terrible news of our friend CD. Looks like the Clippers are trying to strip their #1 fan of the rights to use “Clipper” in his name. First off…. Darrell is THE biggest Clipper supporter in franchise history. For the team to be that petty and refrain him from using the Clipper name is pretty ridiculous. Is Darrell really affecting the team’s finances THAT MUCH? I mean, you have Blake Griffin, CP3, and a ton of highlights on ESPN courtesy of Lob City! Aren’t there bigger fish to fry? I just think it’s pretty ridiculous that they go after one of their most loyal fans when they could be focusing their energies on other things. I bet Mark Cuban wouldn’t have treated him this way.

Anyway, It’s real unfortunate that this happened and we wish “Darrell” the best of luck and we fully support you. You were there during the tough times and are enjoying these good Clipper runs as the band wagoners are piling up. Sorry that this happened to you. Looks like other people are supportive of you too!

Sterling…. please make this situation right and bend a little. Darrell is one of us…. a fan.

DeepStacks Poker Tour @ Seneca Niagara Casino | Part 1

What a joy it was to be part of this amazing experience! This wasn’t no home game or poker games you see in vegas or local casino tables. DeepStacks Tour brought PROS and people like us to compete in a televised event! With reporters, camera crews, radio broadcastings, to apparel from Stack: this event exceeded expectations of many to bring poker that swag it was missing. Congrats to C. Torina and the DeepStacks fam for putting this amazing event together. You guys killed it! Can’t wait to be part of what the next tour and beyond will bring for DeepStacks.

Deep Stacks Final Table

So the first poker tour is over for Deep Stacks and we had a ton of fun and was a great experience. Met great people and have some juicy collabs and ideas cooking up!!!! Congrats to William Vogel, for taking home a cool $71,000 plus. He bought into a $55 satellite to get into this tourney and goes home a BIG winner! Here are a few pix:

I’m in NY trick!!! (DEEP STACKS POKER TOUR FINALLY!!!!)

Finally the time is here and Stack Clothing is proud to say we are an official sponsor of the Deep Stacks Poker tour that’s going on LIVE here at the Seneca Hotel and Casino based in beautiful Niagara Falls, NY. I’m in NY TRICK! hahahaha… We are stoked to be here and loving the energy. So far we’ve met several poker stars and caught them wearing our new STACK X DEEP STACKS hoodies. Check it!

Linsane!

Mannnn… this kid is the real deal! If you’ve been following what he has done thus far, you are a BELIEVER. It’s all out LINSANITY!!!

Here at Stack, we are about Poker/Gaming/ Strategic Lifestyle. Jeremy Lin is straight BALLIN’ (Gaming) and strategically picking teams apart! If you read our philosophy, everything we wrote and stand for…. Jeremy Lin is doing.

“We don’t believe in quick success but the mentality of building up from hard work and effort. Just like in poker you got to be smart with your moves and capitalize when the opportunity is in front of you.” Sounds like someone to me right? I think that’s why here at Stack we’ve been such huge supporters of the Linsanity Movement! A few of us here at Stack are Asian American’s and are so proud of Jeremy Lin of what he’s been able to accomplish and loving watching him prove his doubters wrong. It seems like this is just the beginning fellas! With all the craze, our creative juices have been flowing and HAD to drop a few LINSANE shirts.

Here is what we’ve been up to:

We dropped our first release of Linsanity (Blue Tongue) tees and they are selling out fast! This was in homage to his first real NBA start against the UTAH JAZZ when he threw up a 3 point shot to seal the deal in the 4th quarter and stuck out his BLUE tongue. We’ve been seeing a few Linsanity shirts out there but here at Stack, we try to keep it fresh and flip things up. Seems like the people are feeling our version of Linsanity by these shipping packages no?

Therefore, we are about to release couple more Lin designs you guys and girls are going to LOVE!!!

Jeremy Lin is putting up numbers like he’s in a video game. He’s also been quoted saying that Super Lintendo was one of his personal favorite names because he used to play it when he was a kid. This is the year of the Dragon and it looks like it’s time for the Lin Dynasty! We flipped the traditional Year of the Dragon symbol and threw in the 17 and gave the dragon a bball to handle. We hope the dragon bring JLIN17 much more success in 2012!
